Job Summary
The Brickers Foundation aims to combat disparity and improve communities. As a volunteer Graphic Designer for the Foundation, you'll help create visual materials for our outreach efforts and create compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand message across various platforms. This role requires proficiency in both digital and print design, as well as a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles.
Duties
Develop visual concepts and designs for branding, onboarding/marketing materials, and digital content.
Create logos, illustrations, and other graphics that align with our brand identity.
Collaborate with the Founding Director to produce engaging motion graphics or video content.
Design layouts for web pages, presentations, and print advertising materials.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) to execute design projects.
Implement color management and typography best practices in all designs.
Work with content management systems (CMS) such as Wordpress or Squarespce.com to update website visuals (a plus).
Conduct photo manipulation and editing to enhance imagery used in various projects.
Participate in art direction and production design processes to ensure high-quality outputs.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into your work.
Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe
Someone passionate about community building and social impact
A designer with creative insight and a strong visual storytelling ability
Willing to collaborate closely with the Founding Director to align with the Foundation’s mission
