We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer in the Washington-Baltimore area to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling and possess a diverse skill set in photography, videography, and post-production. This role requires an individual who is not only proficient in capturing stunning images but also skilled in editing and enhancing visuals to create compelling content across various platforms.
Duties
Capture high-quality photographs for various Foundation projects, including events, interviews, portraits, products, and editorial work.
Utilize Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Capture One for photo editing and manipulation to achieve desired aesthetics.
Collaborate with organization partners and team members to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results that align with their vision.
Manage color theory and color management processes to ensure consistency across all visual content.
Engage in post-production tasks, including video editing using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, to create engaging video content.
Edit and deliver polished video/photo content for use across social media, website, and promotional materials
Conduct filming sessions for promotional videos or other multimedia projects as needed.
Assist with social media management by creating visually appealing content tailored for various platforms to enhance brand presence.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in photography and videography to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across different styles and mediums.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro.
Solid understanding of photography techniques, including lighting, composition, and camera settings.
Experience in video production and post-production processes is highly desirable.
Strong skills in photo editing, photo manipulation, color management, and color theory.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
A background in journalism or social media management is a plus but not mandatory.
